Bushwalkers of Western Australia Inc (BOWA) is a small informal bushwalking club. We promote and facilitate bushwalking mostly on weekends in the wild areas around Perth. Less frequent outings are held in the more distant reaches of Western Australia such as the Stirling Ranges and Dwellingup.
The key activity of the club is full day walks during the winter months. Walks are held on almost every Sunday between May and October and range in length from 12 to 20 km. We begin at 9:00 am from one of the designated meeting points and are usually back by 4:00 pm. The walk leader chooses the places to stop for morning tea and lunch.
You are welcome to join us as a visitor to sample the experience of bushwalking.
