Southern John Forrest

A pleasant medium difficulty 10 km half day walk in John Forrest National Park between Jane Brook and Great Eastern Highway. The walk is almost all on track, though there is a lengthy climb and a descent on eroded gravel.   Our route takes us from the Morrison Rd/Pechey Rd car park through the Park’s quiet southern section, around Glen Brook Dam and back through the 340m (unlit) Swan View Tunnel. One stop for morning tea. Members and Visitors who are proposing to attend this walk are reminded that in accordance with the Club’s COVID-19 vaccination policy they may only participate if they have proof that they have been double vaccinated.
