Half day walk approximately 9kms all on limestone track. Some short steep climbs & declines with one particular decline where you may need your poles
Meeting on the north side of the NEW Surfing WA building at the early start of 8.30am so you will be home in time to celebrate Fathers Day with your family.
Leaving the beach carpark we take the footpath to the underpass & then explore the open woodland of Tuart with acorn banksia, thicket of dune sheok, coastal shrubland & thickets of summer scented wattle & ocean glimpses.
BYO morning tea
Morning tea will be at the end of the walk on the lawn area near the carpark beside the Surfing WA Headquarters. There are 2 picnic tables & tiered lawn seats. So no need to carry your morning tea you can leave it in your car.
There is a coffee shop about 100 metres away at Trigg Point, but is very popular on the weekends.
Members and Visitors who are proposing to attend this walk are reminded that in accordance with the Club’s COVID-19 vaccination policy they may only participate if they have proof that they have been double vaccinated.
