Safety is important to our club. Bushwalking has safety implications for the participating walker, other walkers and also members of the public. BOWA has documented its Safety Procedures and encourages evey club participant to be familiar with them. It also has policies for how walkers should treat the environment.

BOWA members are encouraged to print a copy for reference. Visitors should read this document before telephoning a walk leader to join a walk.
