Bold Park and Sea

A pleasant half-day 12 km loop walk through Bold Park to City Beach and return. All on track, though some of the tracks are quite sandy. Great views from various lookout points, though this does mean a number of steepish hills. Morning tea, with coffee availability, is at City Beach by the ocean. We will be back by lunchtime. Note the 8.30 start time.  As the walk coincides with part of the Triathlon Pink event,  there is the potential for Perry Lakes Drive and parts of Stephenson/Underwood Aves (west of Brockway Rd) to be closed from about 6.30am. If so, park on say Alderbury St and walk across Alderbury Reserve to the Scout Hall meeting point. Members and Visitors who are proposing to attend this walk are reminded that in accordance with the Club’s COVID-19 vaccination policy they may only participate if they have proof that they have been double vaccinated.
